Dear guitar enthusiasts, what an exciting year 2024 lies behind us!
My duo with the talented Claire Besson toured all of Germany this summer, giving a total of eight wonderful concerts. We had the honor of performing at some of the most beautiful venues with long concert traditions and for the first time also at festivals.
Our tour took us from the Bamberg Guitar Days, where we felt at home thanks to the warm organization and fantastic audience, to the renowned Venue St. Barbara in Zwickau, where we concluded this year's tour. In between, we experienced magical moments: a colorful open-air concert in Hersbruck, an intimate performance at the ACC Gallery in Weimar, and even an appearance at the young, future-oriented Modern Acoustic Guitar Festival in Bremen.
Particularly memorable for me were also our house concert in Hamburg - perhaps the most beautiful we've ever played - and our performance at the Jazz Club Erfurt, where we were celebrated with standing ovations for the second time. In Munich, we experienced one of the best-organized concerts of our career.
Despite the 650 km distance between us (me in Dresden, Claire in Strasbourg), it was a successful year for our duo. However, we now have an important announcement to make: In the coming year, the Besson-Pazdera Duo will be taking a creative break. Don't worry, our duo remains very important to us! We'll use this time to develop new ideas and compose fresh pieces.
Look forward to 2026, when we'll be touring Europe again with a brand new program and exciting compositions. We can hardly wait to present all that we've created to you.
